The National Best e-Content Award is open to any company, organisation or individual in Sri Lanka.

To take part in the National Best e-Content Awards you must register by sending your application, using the downloadable template.

There is no restriction or limitation in operating platform or channels.

All entries have to be real products. No drafts, demonstrations or unfinished projects can be accepted.

The same product cannot be submitted twice (i.e. submitted again).

The producer must own the copyright of all pictures, sounds, contents etc.

The interface of the products can be in Sinhala, English or Tamil language. The application form has to be completed in English. Since the panel of Jurors comprise both local and international experts.

A product can only be submitted for one category. In case of multiple products by the same organisation, company or team, each product requires a separate submission / application.

None of the materials submitted will be returned. One copy/version of each product submitted will be kept in the National Best e-Content  Award archive. No commercial use of this archive will be made.

Incomplete submissions and those not following the National Best e-Content Award guidelines will be withdrawn from the selection process without notice. The decision of the National Best e-Content Award Grand Jury in this regard will be final.

When submitting a project for the National Best e-Content Award, participants automatically agree to the guidelines set out herein.

Submitting a product to the evaluation and selection process does by no means entitle a developer/ producer to any benefits.

All materials submitted to the National Best e-Content Award selection process ( CDs, DVDs and/ or any other material) must be sent to the Content Manager, Information Communication technology agency of Sri Lanka ( ICTA), 160/24, Kirimandala Mawatha, Colombo 05, Sri Lanka, and arrive no later than 25th October 2012. ICTA will not be liable to pay for any mailing or transport costs. All products must be mailed/ couriered or delivered at the cost of the sender.

Entries to the National Best e-Content Award must respect in their contents and user interaction the UN Declaration on Human Rights. Submissions therefore which encourage war, the exercise of violence, fraud, racism or discrimination will not be accepted and eliminated from the jury processs. Similarly, submissions which violate international copyright provisions will be exculded from the jury process.

All applications recognized at previous e-Swabhimani awards are not eligible to apply. This does not apply to recipients of Certificate of Appreciation.
