Description: A Thalassaemia is an inherited blood disorder, resulting in chronic anaemia. It is incurable. A patient's survival depends on careful management of the disease. The Thelassaemia eRegistry addresses the key issues of individual patient management amongst others. It allows for careful monitoring of a patient’s every visit and records management decisions ove the lifetime of a patient. Cumulative record monitoring also provides an overview of the management of the disease across the country assisting in effective resource management and allocation.
