How would you renew the revenue license of your vehicle? Your vehicle must be insured, it must have an emission certificate and you must go to the Divisional Secretariat at which it was registered and you must pay. It might take a few hours to a day, depending on the traffic. But now you can do it from the comfort of your home. The e-Revenue license is the first transactional e-service to be available through the Lanka Gate country portal.

Birth, Marrage, Death Certificates Digitization Project

Not too long ago the very idea of getting a birth certificate over the counter would have been anything but a dream. But, today it is actually happening – be it Birth, Marriage or Death certificates – copies can actually be obtained over the counter. The BMD project covers 13 of the 24 districts and is made possible through the Lanka Government Network which connects 375 public institutions and is a testament to what is possible through seamless governance.
