The e-Swabhimani is an initiative of the Information Communication technology agency of Sri Lanka aimed at recognizing excellence in digital content creation. It is expected that this national award would stimulate a greater interest in the development of a wide range of content and services that would serve the needs of society. 6th e-Swabhimani programme was launched for this year and attracted over 200 applications.  26 winning submissions were recognized with the presentation of  e-Swabhimani Awards at a colourful ceremony presided over by the Chairman of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) , Mr. P.G.Kumarasinghe  and other distinguished persons.

Happy Life

Happy Life is a project that seeks to provide a solution to challenges faced in resolving issues related reproductive health in the context of today’s society. It recognizes that the problems of the younger generation are changing and that the preferred mode of communication is also changing. Happy Life provides an effective means of providing reliable and timely information through counseling services accessible through multiple channels – Interactive Voice Response (IVR), SMS, Web Chat and the Internet.

Vidusuwa

The goal of ‘Vidusuwa’ is to make specialized healthcare more accessible to the rural population of Sri Lanka y the development of a sustainable model for running special ized e-Clinics. This system provides an e-medical records dissemination system with mobile connectivity to link and e-consultation center at the base hospital with a e-clinic at a peripheral location. The project which started as a pilot for weekly surgical clinics has been expanded to dermatology clinics and is to be further expanded to the mental health clinic.
